One helpful tip per day:)
How to channel our curiosity? Anne-Laure Le Cunff offers her suggestions:
- Curiosity and impulsivity share similar neural mechanisms, both linked in the brain's reward system. While curiosity can drive knowledge and innovation, it is also easily hijacked by low-value information.
- "Curiosity snacks" are intentional nudges that guide our impulsive curiosity toward meaningful learning, creativity, and discovery.
- Curiosity can be impulsive. However, the smartest strategy isn't to suppress it—it's to channel it.
- Replace mindless apps on your phone's home screen with ones that激发your curiosity and promote meaningful exploration.
- The easier it is to pick up a book, the more likely you are to read it. Keep good books within easy reach on your desk, coffee table, or nightstand.
- Seek out creators and fellow curious minds who share interesting ideas. If you fall into a "rabbit hole," at least it will be one worth exploring.

如何引导我们的好奇心?Anne-Laure Le Cunff 给出了她的建议:
- 好奇心和冲动性有相似的神经机制,二者在大脑的奖赏系统中相互关联。虽然好奇心能够促使知识和创新,但也容易被低价值的信息所劫持;
- “好奇零食”是一种引导我们冲动的好奇心走向学习、创造和有意义的策略;
- 好奇心可能是冲动的。但最聪明的策略并不是与它对抗——而是引导它;
- 把手机主屏上的无意义应用程序替换成能激发你好奇心的应用程序。
- 书籍越容易拿起,你就越有可能阅读它们;
- 寻找那些倾向于分享有趣想法的创作者和同样充满好奇心的人。如果你掉进了一个“兔子洞”,至少它是个有趣的“洞”。
