Herbert Lui struggled with fragmented sleep until he found a way to fall back asleep:

  1. When he consulted doctors about this issue, they indicated there was nothing they could do.
  2. Generally, if he couldn't fall back asleep within about 15 minutes, he would get out of bed.
  3. Usually, he would engage in simple activities, like reading a novel or writing down tasks for the next day, and then return to bed to continue sleeping.
  4. Because this method proved effective, he gradually became more relaxed, confident, and found it easier to fall back asleep.
  5. When he consistently exercised, the chances of uninterrupted sleep throughout the night significantly improved.
