  1. Mistakes are the real teachers—only when we hit a wall do we truly understand that a certain path won’t work.
  2. Our identity is like a lobster shell: as we grow, the shell becomes too small, causing discomfort. Only by shedding the old shell can we continue to grow, but in doing so, we become extremely vulnerable—this is the pain of growth.
