  3. Reminding yourself of the larger goal behind setting boundaries can give you more courage and motivation to uphold them.
  4. A failure to set boundaries with yourself is one of the most important contributors to chronic anxiety.
  5. Healthy stress is actually a vital part of our psychological and physical well-being—it helps us recover from pain, overcome challenges, and even grow emotionally.
  6. Crucially, toxic stress makes us more prone to anxiety, while healthy stress builds resilience against it.
  7. One of the best ways to reduce chronic anxiety and build self-confidence is to actively seek out healthy stress that encourages growth and strengthens you.
