Since Roam Research, two-way linking has become a standard feature of almost all note taking tools. Obsidian is no exception, and Mike Schmitz follows Obsidian to introduce how to use two-way linking, atomic notes, and note linking visualization:

  1. two-way linking is amazing because it automatically turns one-way links into two-way ones.
  2. atomic notes are notes that cannot be re-segmented, which may increase the cost of recording in the short term, but can greatly improve retrieval efficiency in the long term.
  3. note visualization is actually a projection of knowledge in our brain, and following these visualizations can help us understand the connections between knowledge more intuitively.

  1. 双向链接之所以神奇,是因为它会自动把单向链接变成双向的;
  2. 原子笔记是无法再分割的笔记,短期可能会增加记录成本,但是长期而言可以大大提高检索效率;
