Hunter Walk presented two tips of his own to alleviate the imposter syndrome.

  1. Imagine how your younger self sees yourself in the present. If your younger self will admire that your current self is doing okay, then obviously you are making progress, and thinking this way will also alleviate the replacement syndrome.
  2. Imagine how the people around you see yourself. People who suffer from the imposter syndrome definitely feel that they are not as good as the people around them. But if they are all smarter and more capable than me, can I simply fool them? If not, then obviously I am also irreplaceable.

  2. 想象周围的人如何看待自己。患有替代者综合症的人一定是觉得自己不如身边的人。但是如果他们比我都聪明能干,我能简单地糊弄他们吗?如果不能的话,那么显然我也是不可被取代的。
