During last Friday's sharing session, Paul Graham believed that curiosity is a crucial factor for exponential growth. Coincidentally, Paul W. Homer also believed that curiosity plays an important role in software development:
- At the beginning of a development project, there may be some hasty decisions made to ensure the project goes live as soon as possible, potentially compromising the project's quality.
- After going live, developers with curiosity will ask why things are the way they are and what can be done to avoid similar situations in the future.
- Such curiosity can improve the quality of the project and also lighten the load for future projects.
