One helpful tip per day:)

Scott Young, who once completed four years of MIT's computer science curriculum in one year, detailed how to better utilize the Feynman Technique:

  1. The Feynman Technique can be very time-consuming, so it should be used selectively.
  2. When you use the Feynman Technique to explain concepts to yourself, try to describe them with precise words as much as possible. This way, you'll more easily identify the knowledge you lack.
  3. Do not use the Feynman Technique to replace problem-solving exercises, because exercises can help you ascertain the depth of understanding required for a concept.

曾经在一年里学完四年 MIT 计算机系课程的 Scott Young 详细介绍了如何更好地使用费曼学习法:

  1. 费曼学习法会很耗时,所以要有选择地加以利用;
  2. 当你使用费曼学习法向自己解释概念的时候,要尽可能用准确的词语描述,这样你会更容易发现自己欠缺的知识;
  3. 不要用费曼学习法取代习题,因为习题可以帮助你确认一个知识点所要了解的深度。
