One helpful tip per day:)

What do we fear the most? It is uncertainty. How can we deal with uncertainty? Anne-Laure Le Cunff suggests that we can divide uncertainty into four quadrants and address them accordingly:

  1. If we know that we know something, we can use data and facts to address it.
  2. If we know that we don't know something, we can experiment to gain more information, turning the unknown into the known as much as possible.
  3. If we don't know that we know something, we can make hypotheses and then verify them.
  4. As for not knowing that we don't know something, this is the biggest challenge. We can only use the above methods to handle it, but we will always have our limitations.

我们最怕的是什么?是不确定性。那么如何面对不确定性呢?Anne-Laure Le Cunff 建议我们可以将不确定性划分为四个象限,然后有针对性地面对它们:

  1. 如果我们知道自己知道某件事,我们就可以利用数据和事实来面对;
  2. 如果我们知道自己不知道某件事,我们可以试验来获得更多信息,尽可能将它转变为已知的事;
  3. 如果我们不知道自己知道某件事,我们可以提出假设,然后加以验证;
  4. 至于我们不知道自己不知道某件事,这是最大的挑战,只能采用上面的方法加以处理,但我们总有自己的局限。
