Daily Productive Sharing 626 - Which Type of Planner Are you?

It's that time of year again for New Year's resolutions, and Shawn Blanc believes there are three types of planners, and the commonality between them is the belief that the New Year is a blank canvas on which we can plan:

  1. some people who will change many habits in the first month of the New Year, but then fail to stick to them by the second month;
  2. some people will expect to give up some bad habits in the new year and build new habits from scratch, which may also become difficult;
  3. to build new habits, or change old ones, for the long term, we need not a blank sheet of paper, but a combination of old habits and our own situation, with a little change. This is the concept of habit stacking introduced by James Clear in Atomic Habits.
