在准备技术移民时，寻找海外工作机会是必不可少的一步。

在之前的文章中我们介绍了如何利用 Indeed 来寻找海外工作机会，Exodus 02 - How to Fined Oversea Working Opportunities？，这是寻找工作的第一步。Indeed 上面有不少工作机会，但这些机会并一定都来自于我们熟悉的跨国公司。如果我们遇到这些非知名公司的机会，我们应该如何来评估呢？

这时候，我们可以拿 LinkedIn 上的公开信息来评估一家公司，这些信息不需要开通 LinkedIn Premium 就能获得，非常方便：

1. 公司资料
2. 雇员规模
3. 开放职位
4. 雇员资料

正如 iPod 之父 Tony Fadell 在他的 Build 一书中写道：

“However, the only thing that can make a job truly amazing or a complete waste of time is the people. Focus on understanding your field and use that knowledge to create connections with the best of the best, people you truly respect.”

通过这些资料，我们可以对一家公司的人才有所了解，这会极大地帮助我们最终的决策。

我们最近在 Reuters 上读到一则中东 Fintech 公司的新闻：

YAP, a digital bank in the United Arab Emirates, said on Monday it had raised $41 million in funding and targeted raising another roughly $20 million to finance its expansion plans.

看起来事很不错的融资信息，但这家叫 Yap 的公司并不出名，如果我们想加入这家公司，当然需要评估一下他们。公开的资料很少，于是我们动手就开始用 LinkedIn 来搜索他们的信息。通过这些信息，我们希望对这家公司有了更深入的了解。
