Morgan Housel

  1. In the game of life, every one starts at a different difficulty level.
  2. The bottom line is, not one is absolutely wrong or absolutely correct. Each individual's vision/knowledge is limited. Each person's preference might be very different.
  3. Success is relative. The key is to bring happiness to customers (by saving them time and money & helping them solve problems), myself (a professional achievement), and my family (by keeping the fridge full).
“If no one envies you, then you are incompetent.”
  5. If your project is visible on the Internet and gets a bit of traction, some people will hate you for no particular reason.

  1. In the game of life, every one starts at a different difficulty level.
  2. Startups all make mistakes in the early stage. They fix things and continue to improve their service, which is great!
  3. What happens if a user unsubscribes in the middle of a billing cycle? We charge them prorated rates, based on time and usage. Users don’t need to pay a full month’s fee in those instances.
  4. The bottom line is, not one is absolutely wrong or absolutely correct. Each individual's vision/knowledge is limited. Each person's preference might be very different.
  5. Success is relative. The key is to bring happiness to customers (by saving them time and money & helping them solve problems), myself (a professional achievement), and my family (by keeping the fridge full).
  6. Great documentation builds trust.
  7. We allow old users to stick to the lower pricing they obtained when they signed up. Any future price changes won’t affect existing paying users.
  8. But I feel thankful for customers who stand by us for so long. I want them to enjoy the low pricing as a benefit.
“If no one envies you, then you are incompetent.”
  10. If your project is visible on the Internet and gets a bit of traction, some people will hate you for no particular reason.
